NeEDS facilitates regular intersectoral and international secondments from both Experienced Researchers (ERs) and Early Stage Researchers (ESRs).
The secondments enable the exchange of knowledge between different academic disciplines (High Performance Optimization, Network Science, and Visualization), different sectors (academia, industry), and different locations (Europe, the USA, and Latin America) and, thereby, increase the researchers’ sets of transferrable skills and improve employability in industry. More than 200 person-months of secondments of multidisciplinary, intersectoral and international nature enable personal interaction between the members of the network to nurture knowledge and strengthen the network activities.
