Generative AI Day at the Escuela Politécnica de Ingeniería de Gijón

Do you want to know more on Generative AI?

Since the launch of ChatGPT in March this year, just six months ago, the Artificial Intelligence landscape has changed on a global scale and has started a revolution in all sectors. Generative AI represents a new scenario of possibilities and capabilities in all areas.

At Inetum they are already working on different solutions based on this technology to experiment and create new use cases that can be applied on a day-to-day basis, always with the idea of putting technology at the service of people and society.

And with this same objective, the Inetum Chair and the University of Oviedo are organising this conference on Generative AI at the Polytechnic School of Gijón on October 4 2023,  where they invite you to participate.

Among the speakers the NeEDS partner Min Chen, Professor of Scietific Visualisation at the University of Oxford, will participate in the discussion.

Emilio Carrizosa gave a plenary speech at Optimization2023

Emilio Carrizosa gave a plenary speech at Optimization2023, to present the NeEDS work on counterfactual explanation for machine learning. The main objective of the Optimization 2023 conference is to bring together researchers and practitioners from different areas and backgrounds, but with common interests in Optimization.

This meeting has international recognition as an important forum of discussion and exchange of ideas. It is the 10th edition of a series of international conferences in optimization organized in Portugal under the auspices of APDIO (the Portuguese Operations Research Society).

The conference took place in the University of Aveiro, July 24-26, 2023. Read more here.

NeEDS contribution to IFORS2023, Santiago de Chile (Chile), July 10-14, 2023

Dolores Romero Morales gave a keynote speech at the 23rd IFORS Triennial Conference in Santiago, Chile, July 10 – 14, 2023, to present the NeEDS work on explainability and fairness in Machine Learning. This is the flagship conference of the International Federation of Operational Research Societies (IFORS), that is held every three years alternating with the EURO and the International INFORMS conferences.
